The Round House
The Round House on Casuarina Bay The Round House affords spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from every room, it is set amidst a picturesque grove of coconut palms, colorful hibiscus, fragrant frangipani flowers, sea grape and Casuarina trees. Easily accessible, Casuarina Bay is just 1 hour by air from Fort Lauderdale or Miami and 15 minutes from Nassau. Our 14 acre sea to sea estate is located 1.5 miles northeast of the charming village of Governors Harbour, one of the oldest settlements in the Bahamas. This unique beachfront vacation cottage is built of cedar in an open hexagonal design with beautiful new hardwood floors. Eight arching windows provide magnificent views, and open onto a wrap-around 360 degree deck.
The house has high ceilings and is charmingly decorated with Caribbean style furnishings and art. Perfect for a honeymooning couple or a small family, the Round House has a queen bed and a sleeping loft (with skylight) which is ideal for up to 3 children. We have just completed a lovely private new beach cabana for the exclusive use of our Round House guests. Additional amenities include: access to beach, deep sea fishing, attractions - churches, attractions - arboretum, swimming, dining area, attractions - festivals, dining oven, boating, cookware, attractions - cave, atm/bank, scuba or snorkeling, attractions - botanical garden, bird watching, bay, attractions - library, beachcombing, surfing, cooking utensils.<br><br>
