This elegant waterfront home is located on the south end of the island, on the bay and featuring breathtaking sunsets. The world- famous Pink Sands Beach is just a short walk away, and when you rent Buttonwood you have exclusive access to the owner’s private palapas and comfortable furniture on the beach. It is a perfect retreat where your family and friends can gather to make fond memories. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy full amenities, including: daily maid service (except Sundays and major holidays), a dedicated property manager and gardener, purified water from a reverse osmosis system, central air conditioning, heated swimming pool and an automatic back-up generator- a true necessity for comfort and convenience on the island. Named after the native Buttonwood tree, this home was completed in 2008 and includes 5,500 sf of indoor luxury living space and 2,500 sf of covered veranda. It boasts 2 master suites with King beds and three additional bedrooms with twin bed sets that may be converted into King beds. The upstairs master includes a private balcony, which is a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, spectacular sunsets, and late-night star gazing. Three of the bedrooms enjoy water views, and the other two bedrooms overlook an enclosed tropical garden. The den has a new, comfortable queen size sleeper sofa to sleep two. Up to 17 people total can be accommodated. For your enjoyment, each bedroom comes with a full private bathroom. The downstairs living space is open, colorful and comfortable. The six full length glass doors in the dining area and living room truly bring the outdoors in and allow you to enjoy the stunning views. A chef's kitchen will all the bells and whistles is fully equipped and ready for you to create your favorite island delights, or you may choose to hire a private chef. Enjoy the state-of-the-art home entertainment system, which includes 4 flat screen TVs, Sonos inside and out, and WiFi. The outdoor space at Buttonwood is created for your full enjoyment and the gardens are among the most beautiful on the island. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, relax on the oversized lounge chairs, sip your drink at the fully equipped cabana bar, or play pool, ping pong or foosball on the outdoor tables. A 90' private dock is awaiting the arrival of your boat, and it is an over the water entertainment area with lounges, seating. It is the perfect place for yoga, fishing, swimming and viewing sunsets. You may also launch the complimentary sea kayaks and paddleboards from the dock. After a long day at the beach or a swim in the bay, you may rinse off using the outdoor dock shower or take advantage of the fully enclosed outdoor bathroom. Beach and pool toys, a crib, stroller and booster seat are offered for families traveling with small children. If you need additional space for your group, The Playhouse is the adjacent 4-bedroom guest house which sleeps 10. It may be rented in combination with Buttonwood.
